Last summer, I stumbled upon a post about the Starbucks Pink Drink in the US. The change of season can be quite irking to some because of the change of wardrobe, the extra umbrella baggage, and adjustments to the daily routine. Aside from this, the rainy season means that vacation period is over. HUHU

I wasn't able to hit the beach nor swimming resorts this summer. Bummer! The only good thing about not pursuing any water-related getaways these past months is that my body is not beach-ready. Haha

I couldn't be any happier when I found out that this event will happen in the south because I'm only an hour away from MOA. I'm actually the first one to register even if I left the house tad late. (I wish I can always be early in events. 😂 )

There are times when I feel like I'm not up for my usual Starbucks Iced White Chocolate Mocha on a weekend. Whenever I'm out, I make it a point to get something else because this drink reminds me of work. 😅  hihi

How's 2017 treating you so far, friends?

I've been on a roll since the year started. Yes, blaming my laziness during the holidays. Even if that's the case, I'm ecstatic for all the good news coming my way! ( I can't wait to share them soon ;) )

It was last 2015 when I professed my coffee love for Starbucks Philippines. Because I'm a caffeine lover, this coffeehouse has been my shelter for my clique gatherings, alone time, and work meetings. Back then, I've been hearing about Starbucks Reserve already - a coffee haven that serves ultra‐premium, exotic, rare and exquisite coffees. Since it has a limited number of branches, I've never gotten the luxury of time to drop by and appreciate what this store has to offer.



Not until last January 9! Because the FIRST EVER Starbucks Reserve Core Card has finally dropped, I made it a point to finally visit a Starbucks Reserve store nearest to my office. (Located at Sapphire Bloc in front of Marco Polo Hotel in Ortigas)

With my everyday routine as a community manager and blogger, I almost always find myself needing that extra lift midday to keep me up and running. The funny thing is that, even if the coffee brewer is only a few steps away from my desk,  I still feel lazy to make myself a cup of joe  I see myself overloaded with work. Hence, no coffee for me.


The ready-to-drink bottled Starbucks Frappuccino® coffees are an instant savior for me because I can just grab it from the fridge and enjoy it while I do my social media sweep. I don't even have to do a coffee run on the nearest Starbucks branch from my office just to get my fix. Hooray!

Work and Life balance. An overused phrase that millenials can't keep up these days.

Travelling 68 kilometers every weekday to work is no joke. I wake up at 6 am to get ready for work and leave work sometime around 7:00 pm. I might've got the hang of it, but there are times when it becomes life draining.

It's not just a feeling anymore, I already turned 22 last May 11. Welp! Even though it's kind of late, I want to write everything down so that this blog post will appear in my timehop in the future. lol

But really, jotting all these happenings will make me reminisce the moments and the feeling when the following people (from the past and present) remembered and shared their love as I add another year to my existence.

Living more than twenty years so far taught me that life is meant to be imperfect and that I should strive in this mad world we live in. Days ago before my day, I even uttered to myself the hardship of being an adult: the responsibility that comes with all kinds of freedom and upgrading of skill set (to mention some).

But since it's my birthday, I knew that I had to live in the moment for a bit and treat myself for a job well done.


That night, we felt nostalgic and played all the songs we grew up with. My Herione, Stars, Your Call, Your Guardian Angel, Remembering Sunday, even Narda was in our set list. We also laughed about the fact that we had to check the tabs at Ultimate Guitar online. Surprisingly, the website is still up and running. Indeed, it was a great night with my bae. <3
